Placement Cell :

Lonavala being a tourist destination as well as neighboring with IT hub of India it takes an immense pride and pleased to announce the Sinhgad Institute of Hotel management and Catering Technology, Lonavala  is most preferred destinations for recruitment for hotels in the area.  Most five-star hotels in Pune and Mumbai consider our students for placement and the success rate of placements is a testimonial of the same.

Apart from hotels, many more alternate avenues also open up for new Hoteliers  – Retail, Quick Service Restaurants, Facility Management, Airlines, Sales, Consulting , Govt. Jobs , Marketing, catering Operations, Entrepreneurship Opportunity. Every year Campus interviews are conducted from September to April. All students who opt for placement get at least one offer at the end of placement drive

INTERNSHIP :

The college operates with three-degree courses in Hotel Management. Internship is part of the curriculum for all the courses.

The internship is first-hand exposure to five-star hotel operations and gives practical learning to the theoretical inputs as provided by the college. Students also get clarity of real-time hotel working and helps them chose their preferred department of work in hotels.

Domestic Internship:
Students are placed by the college in the best five-star hotels in the students’ preferred choice of city.

International Internship:
Should they wish to undergo training in a foreign country, placement for the same is also facilitated by the college. Our students have successfully trained in the following countries –

  • Mauritius
  • France
